www.myspace.com/cityzenroadtorock In the year of 2002, from the yet warm ashes of some Oporto bands, City Zen would be born. João Maia, former-guitarist of the missing band My Porno Star, looked for surrounding himself by known musicians so he could proceed his musical journey. Thus, starting with so many influences as Pixies, Iggy Pop, Sonic Youth or Joy Division, City Zen early would find a rock sonority of its own, with a marked and well defined identity.
