Nikos, Νίκος Κουρκούλης, was born in Kavala, a city in Northern Greece. Since his family was involved in music he started to sing when he was 13 years old. He also learned to play the bouzouki, guitar and bass. 16 years old, he started to sing at clubs and a few years later he performed with well known Greek singers. He released his first album in 1997.
