Born in London and raised in a commune in Vancouver, Belle has always been surrounded by musical activity. Almost as soon as Belle was walking and talking she was singing and entertaining her extended family and friends. Belle studied the arts at university and gained a degree in Literature. As well as writing her own material she has performed live in both the UK and Canada. Belle has always remained positive and experimental in her work, believing that all songs should contain life and emotion.
