There are a number of bands known as Dragonslayer. 1. Dragonslayer is a power metal band from Molins de Rei, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. They formed in 1999. 2. Dragonslayer is a nwobhm band from the United Kingdom who formed in 1978 under the name of Heavy Thunder. They changed their name to Slayer in 1980, then to Dragonslayer in 1983 to avoid confusion with the well known thrash act. 3. Dragonslayer is a heavy metal band from Concepción, Chile. They formed in 2004. 4. Dragonslayer is a power metal band form Lublin, Poland. They formed in 2006.
