SUPER7AIYAN is a five-piece instrumental band based in Galway, which combines elements of indie, pop and math rock. The band consists of Sean Leonard, Vincent Hughes and Brian O’Brien on guitars, Dara Dermody on bass, and Oisín Tohak on drums. We took to the stage for the first time in October 2012, having been together for only two and a half months, to play at Witless 2013, NUIG’s Battle of the Bands. Despite competing against much more experienced bands, we managed to win a place in the finals in February 2013, where we achieved third place.
