The Shootist is the side project of Andrew Alburn, guitar player of Lancaster, PA-based band Albert React. Alburn's side project, a Thom Yorke-esque effort with only one track released to date, departs significantly from Albert React's more post-screamo indie rock origins. The release of The Shootist's only track occurred in the Spring of 2007, after a year in which education and employment scattered Albert React's members throughout New England and the Mid Atlantic.
