Josh Paddock (aka TURTL3) started making music with wave sampling in 2003 on a computer while living in Valdez Alaska. Josh shortly after started going to Alaska Job Corps Center in Palmer Alaska, where he first got a chance to use audio editing software such as Fruity loops and Pro tools. Josh took computer repair classes for a year and a half. Meow Mix Music was created as a way for Josh / Turtle to express himself musically. Its mostly a part time hobby for Josh and he keeps it as a hobby so he does not get burnt out trying to come up with ideas for new songs.
