Arficeden were conceived in kendal. Stuart Metcalfe and Paul Metcalfe had been playing music together since they had been at school. From being in many projects together (one of which was 'Policy' with whom paul and stuart played alongside Tom Lee Mann and old friend Tom Poole) Arficeden was to be the one project they put all there effort into. originally writing mellow acoustic/singer songwriter with dash's of electronics type stuff they finally found there sound with the help of friend Dan Payne joining on drums.
