The Clean Prophets' members (Jerrold Balcom, Johnny Sleeper, and Giorgio Karambelas) come from other notable psych-rock bands such as The Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Superbees. Their sound reflects their past experience in these bands with a hint of shoegaze and pop.
