Serious DJs is Craig Davis and Alex Payne, two longtime friends and musical collaborators from the Washington, DC area. Craig comes to DJing from a production background, having released an album as 5dots to critical acclaim. His musical interests vary from experimental sonics to radio-friendly rap. Alex has DJ’d for a number of years, having cut his teeth making jungle mixes with a tape deck and belt drive turntables. Everything from dancefloor beats to indie rock inhabits his record collection.
