The Disengagement
The Disengagement is a four piece rock outfit from Atlantic Canada, consisting of Lanny Cox (vocals/guitar), Kevin Carey (guitar), Dane Colombe (bass), and Greg Hann (drums). Fans and critics have described the band's music as original, densely textured, and lyrically surrealistic. Encompassing several genres including indie rock, power pop, folk, and progressive rock, they have been compared to such artists as Built to Spill, Elliott Smith, and Sonic Youth.
