1) Alkaloid is a German Progressive Death Metal band formed in 2013, featuring famous German extreme metal musicians Linus Klausenitzer on bass, Florian Magnus Maier on guitar and vocals, Danny Tunker on guitar, Christian Muenzner on guitar, and Hannes Grossmann on drums.
2) Female fronted 80s heavy metal band from Japan. Alkaloid was formed in July 1984 in Tokyo and feautres female vocalist "Angel".
