Sans Katoi is a six-piece band based out of South Bend, IN. The band formed in October 2005 with Michael Wells (drums) and Alex Renfro (bass) as the founding members. One month later, Greg Howard was added as the frontman and Devin Gribbons was asked to help write songs. At the same time, a microKORG synthesizer was purchased as Wells and Renfro took turns writing and arranging songs. Prior to work on their first album "Sound Asleep", multi-instrumentalist Azelia Ng was added to the band and focused primarily on the synthesizer and violin.
