                    There are multiple artists named The Mint:  1. Early 70s garage band from Dallas, TX featured on the Tempo records compilation A New Hi.  2. Songs for all those whose dreams have gone” is the title of their first EP. What remains when you have lost your songs and dreams? The band’s name The Mint is derived from the most famous hotel and casino in Las Vegas, immortalised in Hunter S.
