An only child of parents who immigrated to Australia from Chile, Charmaine grew up in the city of Sydney. Music was at the core of her family, her parents committing their lives to music ministry and traveling the world as part of a vocal group. Charmaine was born in the United States while her parents were on tour with their music ministry from Australia, Endless Praise (EP), one of only two professional full-time music ministries in Australia.
