D-Black always found himself being "the new kid" either in school or in the neighborhood. He was born in the Polo Ground Houses in Harlem, NY during the mid 80's. It was a time where violence, drug abuse & poverty were at its highest. By age 6, he had already witnessed two murders up close. To find solace for his family, his father would move them around four times throughout the greater Harlem region before being evicted.
