Hey Dude began in the summer of 2002 with a brutal explosion that wiped out half of Little Falls. Two of the remaining inhabitants hid out in a small back basement-like room with nothing but two acoustic guitars, two microphones, two amps, and a keyboard. Suddenly, a brutal lightning storm struck four surrounding trees, effectively barricading the entire room. It was two years before adequate help arrived and brought the two trapped people to freedom. The two young men that were found in the room were not the same young men that entered. Dom and Matt went into that room, Hey Dude came out.
