Sleep City, Sleep was a post hardcore band from Frankfort Kentucky consisting of 2 guitarist a bass player who sang sometimes, a synth player, a drummer, and a guy a screaming his head off. The band started as a four piece and called themselves "The Empire Falls," shortly after adding a synth player and seconded guitarist and changed the named. We as a band were really young and wanted to make music similar to everything that we listened to at the time and growing up, drawing influence from bands like Incubus, rage against the machine, blindside, the used, story of the year. versus the mirror, as cities burn, the devil wears prada, chasing victory, and even p.o.d.
