The lungs are the organs responsible for producing the oxygen necessary for the human body to function. With that in mind; the Chicago emcee Lungz has emerged attempting to provide that same type of sustaining breathe to hip hop that is necessary for its own survival. Carrying the banner for both the north and the south sides due to his upbringing, Lungz represents a new vangaurd of young, capable Chicago lyricists who not only deliver intricate rhymes but infuse them with the street ambience and real life authenticity to create an audience packed with both backpackers and thugs.
