Rumored to have formed sometime between 2000 and 2003, Alien Blue is an American folk-blues fusion duo. Current and founding members are David McLean on guitar and "Blue" leading the vocals. Their 2006 debut album, An Alien Blue, was an instant online and critical success, with several tracks earning #1 ratings in various categories at JamWave, IndieMoosic and Unsigned Direct. In addition, the band has received numerous accolades from fellow musicians, including well-known artists such as Grammy-award winner Bonnie Raitt and Guns 'n Roses guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal.
