American singer songwriter Cathryn and Brian who was born in Northern Ireland, have created and developed their song writing and performing partnership over a number of years, after first collaborating on Brian's solo album "Black and White.

Their composition, "Alice's song" is featured on Aled Jones' BBC radio 2 programme "Best bits of 2009".

This song was included on their second full album "Calling All Angels", also released in that year and augmented their previous collection of solo CD's and their first album fully as a duo, "I will".

Additionally, their song "Rumours of Rain" which they recorded under the banner of "Folk for Peace" carried a stellar cast of musicians, from famous to very famous, across the world of folk and rock, reaching out with a sentiment heartfelt by many.

Cathryn has a personal CV including performances alongside and with, names such as The Righteous Brothers, Shel Silverstein, Jorma Kaukonnen, Bobby Bare, Garth Brooks and Chet Atkins, who are all close to her American roots.

Brian is a former member of both The Acoustic and Electric Strawbs and a guitarist who plays with delicacy and fervour, with fire and with sensitivity having honed his skills over the years playing with artists such as Mary Hopkin, Joe Brown, Roger Whittaker, Jim Diamond and Sweet’s Brian Connolly.

They have both worked alongside Nanci Griffith.
