There are at least two artists with this name 1) Ama es el grupo de San Sebastián que sale a la luz en noviembre de 2002 con un primer disco homónimo para Jabalina Música. Desde entonces, la formación inicial de trío que grabó su álbum de debut ha aumentado hasta la de quinteto, que actualmente integran los hermanos Borja y Javier Sánchez (guitarras y voces), Jon Intxausti (batería), Yon Vidaur (teclados y programaciones) y Xabier Arrieta (bajo), el último en llegar tras la despedida de Juan Luis Etxeberría.
