John Dew
One of the greatest successful stories in Houston hip-hop of all time, John Dew was born Andrew John DeWalt on September 1, 1982, in Houston, Texas. He was the second of four children, growing up in a single parent home. John Dew’s father, Arturo DeWalt, left the family when John Dew was only 3 years old. The young rapper was raised by his mother, Linda Joseph, in the gang and drug-infested southwest side of Houston.
