Glöd is a Swedish word that more or less means glowing embers but is also synonymous for passion, heat and enthusiasm. As a child I used to spend hours staring into the glöd, just like our ancestors have done since prehistory. Glöd (and fire) is our first and most important technology that brought us together, kept us warm and kept us alive. Now, when ever I can I relive this ancient rite to keep me warm, alive and to bring myself together.
