Blood and Water started taking shape in the Summer of 2006, when the band released their first EP. After a few years of local shows, the band released their first LP independently. New release in hand, the band started touring regionally, opening up for national acts like The Classic Crime, No Use For A Name, The Audition, Hawk Nelson, Lincoln Brewster, The Wedding, Showbread, and many more. The band also began playing CA-based festivals like Rock Of Ages, Joshuafest (drew 750 to the side stage), and the traveling fest, "Extreme Tour".
