The enigma of Rita Calypso was partially resolved with Apocalypso, a 5 stars release with shining examples of classic sounds, English easy beats, bossa nova, bird calls, pop vibes, seaside Rhodes, exquisite string section, bass, percussion and the best vocals of the century. Released in Japan, Korea, Philippines and Taiwan and her songs got appearance in TV ads, cartoons, jingles and commercials. Ana Laan (the nice lady behind the R.C. mask) has been cited as one of the best contemporary singers.
