Plainfield Slim
Plainfield Slim is the blues alter ego of singer/songwriter Gar Francis. Guitarist and songwriter for the Doughboys whose song “Black Sheep” from the acclaimed first album “Is It Now?” was chosen by Little Steven’s Sirius radio show The Underground Garage as the #2 “Coolest Song In The World” for the year 2008. The single “I’m Not Your Man” from the second album by the Doughboys has also been picked as the “Coolest Song In The World” for the week of September 4, 2009.
