Ferdi Serim
Ferdi Serim (whose name in Turkish means "unique old soul") was born in Princeton, NJ and grew up in the NY area. Ferdi is a multi-instrumentalist who brings the fire of jazz creativity to a variety of settings, inspired by his mentor, Dizzy Gillespie. In 1999, Ferdi moved to Santa Fe, and finding so many great drummers, ended up playing alto flute (and more recently Yamaha WX-5 windsynth) almost exclusively.
