aMute

aMute is a project born in the mind of Jérôme Deuson.
He was born somewhere near Namur and raised somewhere in the south of Belgium. He was given his first guitar at the age of 11 and never really looked back since. He followed the well known path of playing in a couple of bands, moving to the big city, playing in a couple of more bands, few concerts, so on. In 2002 Jérôme started his solo project called aMute, a compromise between his passion for so called "Post Rock", with its traditionally sad melodies, and his taste of all glitches and treatment softwares.

After two albums released on the Canadian label Intr-Version Records, aMute has now become a band. Samuel Volan, Thomas Venegoni and Julien Paschal teamed with Deuson to deliver the message of their brand new album "Infernal Heights For A Drama" out on Stilll in March 2009.
