G-fla is a 5-member band who pursues the R&B genre of popular music.
Made up of 4 women and 1 man, the band is led by Lee Gwol who is in charge of the piano and the keyboard.
Jung In, the vocalist of the band had performed with another band “Lee Ssang” before joining G-fla.
All the members of the band are from different backgrounds majoring in maritime studies, economics or literature.
The name of the band G-fla is an abbreviation of “Groove Flamingo” that means ‘the passion for groove.”
Lee Gwol said that she had planned for several years to form a band specializing in black music.
