Hamidou, an Algerian artist born as Ahmed Takdjout in the city of Algiers, on November 8, 1966. Raised in the Mouradia suburb, Hamidou is considered as a multi-talented artist, whose talent was noticed at a young age. In 1982, he succeeded in joining the group “Elfakhardjia” with whom he performed different kinds of music styles. In 1985, he performed for the first time on the Radio channel 3 waves, along with the group “Synthesis”. A year later, he released his first album “Serwal Loubia”, which was even more successful than the Albums of the most known artists at that time.
