Bye Bye Blackbird (aka, and now, Blackbird Blackbird), is a chillwave outfit from San Francisco, USA. They produce dreamy, psychedelic & hypnotic pop music, in the vein of contemporaries Washed Out & Toro y Moi. The project's songwriter / producer (Mikey S) - according to Pitchfork - writes "'short but also pretty sweet' pop songs, with killer hooks". In March 2010, they signed to Arcade Sound Ltd (home to artists such as Memoryhouse, MillionYoung & Teen Daze) &, in May, changed their name to 'Blackbird Blackbird'.
