Dr. Calypso és un grup barceloní d'ska fundat el 1989. Després de grabar sa primera maqueta al 1990, han editat quatre àlbums d'estudi, un doble CD en directe i dos recopilatoris. Early Years (2004) està dedicat als seus primers anys, i en ell es troba sa maqueta, per primera vegada disponible en CD. The Best of Dr. Calypso (Groover, 2004) és un recopilatori exclusiu per a sa distribució a Europa.
