B Smyth was a bit of a late bloomer. Growing up in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Smyth didn't realize he wanted to be a vocalist until he was halfway through high school. Around 10th grade, he joined chorus and did a couple of talent shows, and started to get a response from the girls at school and decided to stick it out. His decision to stick with singing paid off. He's among a new class of R&B singers & Hip-Hop stars poised to make it big in 2013.
