Matik
Matik was a Dutch formation from Amsterdam starring Niels (beats and synths), Peter (vocals), Maarten (guitar) and Sajoscha (bass). The style: pumping beats, raw guitars, catchy electro blending with unique vocals, creating uplifting music. Think Soulwax, Lcd soundsystem, Softcell and Iggy Pop. Matik has played several times at the Amsterdam Sugar factory and were a special live act at the latest fashion show of Bas Kosters. Matik won the Amsterdam Pop Award 2006 and are picked up as interesting newcomer by VPRO - 3voor12. They decided to split up in 2010
