Kathy Brown is a standout Jamaican bred pianist, jazz instrumentalist, composer and a medical doctor is a Jamaica Music Award nominee for her debut CD Mission: A Musical Journey. Brown, popular in the Jamaican jazz circuit, has chalked up live performances at the Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival, Ocho Rios Jazz Festival, and Island Soul Festival (Toronto) and other Caribbean territories. Onstage the part-time medic delights with a repertoire that includes her signature Caribbean tinged, contemporary and standard jazz.
