Joe was a "Most Wanted" artist at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival and a Mountain Stage New Song finalist. He was a recipient of a Rockefeller Foundation Songwriting Grant, which enabled him to travel around the State of New York, interview local residents, gather stories and write songs based on his experiences.
