Bio

Since forming in early 2008, Cat or Pillar has constructed a collection of music which seamlessly flows between everything from Post Rock to Indie pop tunes. The eclectic influences of each musician are represented at various points in their live sound and recordings alike. Having performed with a vast range of bands such as Snakadaktal, Sleepmakeswaves, Eagle and The Worm and many others, they have embraced an enthusiastic and positive DIY approach with everything they do. Singer, Luke is constantly having the strength/tones of his vocals being likened to that of Meatloaf, Freddy Mercury and most commonly Jeff Buckley. This coupled with the catchy guitar work of Alex, strong rhythms of Sam’s drumming and Matt’s bass grooves has allowed for a truly unique and original sound. Read more on Last.fm.
