Basilica refers to two bands: 1. Basilica is Paul Kirkpatrick, also of UK grindcore act phantom limb management, and Adelle Kirk, who was formerly vocalist with UK act Kirk and Kushty. Their first release, 'Sins of the Flesh', comprised electronica, dark guitars and lush vocals in songs that are thematically linked by a fascination for death and murder.The lyrics mine the same uneasy territory as TWIN PEAKS, BLUE VELVET, and similar films...
