HIFANA
HiFana is a Japanese Instrumental DJ group consisting of KEIZOmachine and Juicy.
Their music is pretty unique, which consist of samples from traditional Japanese instruments (like shamisen), Hip-Hop, Break-beat, House, Drum & Bass, Funk, etc. Pretty much everything. Basically put, break-beat with strong Japanese influences.
The equipments they use including multiple Akai MPCs (1000, 2000, 4000) , Korg PadKontrol (occasionally), Korg Kaoss Mixer KM-2, Korg Kaoss Pad KP2, Roland HandSonic 15 (HPD-15), Pioneer DJM 909 mixer, Pioneer CDJ 1000 MK II, Technics SL-1200, a set of timbale drums with cymbals, woodblocks and cowbells.
