Daisuke Amaya (天谷大輔) , otherwise known as Pixel or Studio Pixel, is the acclaimed creator of the independent game Doukutsu Monogatari, otherwise known as Cave Story. A project taking a grand total of five years, the music, graphics and characters were all created solely by him. He has also created various other games, including Ikachan and Azarashi. All of the music for Cave Story was created in a program called OrgMaker.
