The Superiors Music Team consists of Javon Reynolds (Von) and S.I.D Reynolds (City
Sid). The Superiors also include a list of in-house writers and musicians. Coming from Wyandanch, Long Island, the group has a deep rooted history in hip-hop. Introduced to Russell Simmons and Lyor Cohen by Rakim in 1990, S.I.D was first signed as an artist to Def Jam subsidiary R.A.L as Sid & B.Tonn. They released the single Death Wish to high acclaim under the R.A.L. imprint. It was when the R.A.L. division of Def Jam eventually folded
