Mombi
Mombi is an ambient/folk duo based out of Denver, Colorado. Their sound is beautifully haunting, combining elements of folk with subtle electronic flourishes. Lead songwriter Kael Smith writes songs of isolation and escape with intermittent fleeting hues of optimism. These core constituents paired with the mixture of organic and programmed sounds provided by Matt Herron furnish a perfect backdrop to a night or early morning of introspection.
