Hacia el año de 1998, empezó la carrera por separado de Mr. DEC y LIL JUAN, los integrantes de GOLPE A GOLPE, agrupación antioqueña que hoy es reconocida como una de las mejores de Colombia en los géneros Hip Hop y Reggaeton. Inició como un grupo de 4 integrantes en el 2003, luego fueron 3, y desde enero de 2005, se conoce como el dúo GOLPE A GOLPE. Mr. DEC es vocalista y productor musical del grupo y así mismo, produce para otros artistas de Colombia.
