The Monorchid
Monorchid rose from the ashes of Circus Lupus, a Washington DC, United States band that put out two incredible records on Dischord. After their breakup, two alums went on to form Las Mordidas that had a 7" out on Compulsiv/Dischord, which, after a few member changes, turned into Monorchid. The members were: Chris Thomson, Chris Hamley, Andy Coronado, Andy Cone and Tom Allnut
After the lineup solidified, Monorchid appeared on four 7"s - their debut 7" on Lovitt Records, the Lovitt Empire comp 7", a 7" on the San Diego-based Gravity Records and one on Simple Machines Records.
