Magna Cum Laude is a Hungarian pop band, formed in 1999 in Gyula, Hungary, with Tamas Benedek (drummer), József Milek (piano), Tibor Szabó (guitar), Mihály Mező (singer) and Mihály Kara (bassguitar) This popular new band has several clips and has held many concerts over the past few years. The lyrics are loaded with emotions, the songs characterized by unusually simple, clever lyrics and fine tones. Some of their songs have been highly praised and appeared in the top list of radio charts. Their latest album from 2009 is entitled "999" with the hits "999" and "Pálinka Dal".
