Psykup
Psykup is a metal band from France. Formed in 1995, their inspiration comes primarily from Strapping Young Lad, Primus, and Alice in Chains. However, Psykup aims at creating different music, mixing up different styles such as pop and groove.
The singers's extremely versatile voices are reminiscent of works by System of a Down and Mike Patton. Little by little, Psykup came closer to other French metal bands, like Gojira and Sleepers, and became part of the Antistatic group ("collectif" in Fr.), along with Sidilarsen, Leiden, Mary Slut, and Delicatessen.
