In less than 20 minutes, his life was changed forever... When Hurricane Katrina hit, Eric Arceneaux and his family were trapped in an attic for three days in temperatures of over 100 degrees. “ It was a very humbling experience. After being rescued from the rooftop by helicopter, my family and I had to literally fight through a mob of scared and angry people in order to get onto a bus to take us to shelter. It was like being in hell. On top of everything, we lost one of my very close relatives at our hotel in Houston - her heart was unable to handle the stress of the ordeal.
