Started in 2013 as a Judge cover band, Rats is another fresh addition to the Ottawa scene. Pulling influence from 80's and 90's hardcore (Judge, Chain of Strength, Raised Fist) and modern thrash inspired hardcore (Twitching Tongues, Wrong Answer, Trash Talk) Rats aspires to bring a fresh sound to the ever evolving hardcore scene, while provoking listeners with culturally and socially relevant lyrics.
