Korey L. Smith a.k.a K Smooth, started rapping at the age of 12, in the Southside streets of Chicago, trying to find a unique sound and a style of his own. He's a member of the infamous rap group I.C.H (Inner City Hoodlumz), with members Sliik D, Sekret, Pimp G, Seville, and Getty Green. I.C.H started in 1992 and released a underground demo in '93 entitled "Street Playaz", then with the new member; Sekret, I.C.H released a full lenth, barcoded album in 2001 entitled "Real Dirty", which you can find on www.cdbaby.com/ichood. Throughout the years, Smooth has been writing, developing, recording underground hood-tapes, and intertwining, to share a style with group member Sekret, called "Alaplayin'". K Smooth released his first barcoded solo album to the public in 2005, entitled "Mr. Mercenary Smooth One". With raw talent and creativity, Mr. Mercenary will be around for another twenty years.
